Antonio's Summer Wrap Up
August 3, 2004

This has been a great summer for me! As many of you know, I was married in San Antonio on July 10th. Sonia and I had a wonderful wedding and relaxing honeymoon. I appreciate the notes of congratulations we received and am an extremely happy man!

The week after our honeymoon we held our 4th Annual Basketball Camp. We had over 350 participate this year over two weeks. I look forward to the camp each year and once again had a great time with the kids. One of the highlights for me is always the All-Star game on the last day. This year, Malik Rose came out and played along with some of the coaches and me against the kids. The games are always close and this year was no exception. We had a lot of fun and I can't wait for next summer's camps!

There have been some off season moves in Seattle this summer. I am really looking forward to my second season with the Sonics and feel that we have a young and talented team. The first year with the team is always tough, learning the system and getting to know your teammates. Now that I have that behind me I want to be ready to contribute every game and help our team live up to that potential. I have found time this summer to work hard on my game and feel that I will be ready to roll when camp opens.

I'll be back soon with a look at the upcoming season. Thanks for your support and sned questions to me at Antonio@AntonioDaniels.com. Let me know what’s on your mind and in my next column I’ll answer your questions.
