So far, this has been a great summer! I am very excited
about the opportunity to play in Seattle. The Sonics are
an organization that doesn't just talk about the character
of its players, but puts into action. Seattle has a great
group of guys with great attitudes - great teammates. But
what it comes to is it's not really about money it's about
a place where you feel comfortable, it's about a place
where you feel like you can excel and an organization that
has confidence in you. I feel like I have found that in
Seattle. The other big event for me this summer was my basketball camp we held last week in San Antonio. We had well over 300 boys and girls, ages 8 to 14. The camp was a blast! I had a great time working with the kids and playing around. All the kids did their best and I was honored to be able to be part of their summer. The week ended with an All Star game including our special guest Tim Duncan. Some of our coaches joined Tim and me as we took on the kids. The game even went to overtime and we all had a great time. Thanks for all of your support. I'll touch base with you as we roll into the new season in Seattle. As always, you can email me at Antonio@AntonioDaniels.com. Let me know what’s on your mind and in my next column I’ll answer your questions. --AD |
