I just wanted to send out a quick note about Derek. It was
a very unfortunate incident for both Derek and the Spurs.
DA has worked so hard to get to this point and my heart
really goes out to him. I think you all know how I feel
about DA, and many of you have expressed your concern for
him to me. He is in all of our hearts and prayers.Derek's injury has provided us with plenty of motivation. We have been able to respond to injuries all year. When guys like AJ, Shawn and Malik have been out other guys have stepped up. This situation will be no different. We are ready to step up to the challenge. It is an opportunity for me to help our team win. I know our entire team will come together and play hard. If you would like to send Derek a note, email it to me and we'll pass it along to him.
