Some of you know that I was fighting a cold last week. I
tried to play through it but sometimes I don't know if
that's the best approach. I am better now and ready to
take on
Portland and LA. Thanks to Amy, James, Aysecan, Robyn and
everyone else who wrote in. I'll try to answer more of
your questions in the coming weeks.Beth asked how DA is fitting into the offense. DA has really fit in great. I love playing with him because he creates so many opportunities for himself and other guys. He is so athletic and of course he shoots the ball really well. Playing with DA back there is very different than with Mario last season. Not to take anything away from Mario, but DA brings a lot to the table. He can put the ball on the floor, is great in transition, a good spot up shooter and excellent in the passing lanes. He adds a whole new dimension to our offense. We are in Portland tonight. It was a tough loss to the Blazers in SA last week. Now we get them in their house. Steve asked me if anything from Portland surprised us last week. Not really, they are just a good team. They have the best record in the West and that counts for something. They finished strong against us last week. Scottie hit some big shots down the stretch, just like he did against us last year. Right now we are totally focused on them. We can't look ahead. At this point in the season every game is big and we just take things one game at a time. I appreciate your response to the t-shirts.
