Happy New Year from DC!

2005 was a very good year for me and for my family. Our daughter Jada was born in August and it was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced. I love being a father! It has been challenging though and I have learned new things about myself and my daughter.

This past year was the best year of my career. The Sonics took San Antonio to the brink in the playoffs. Even though we came up a little short in the end, I still felt we had a good run.

As you know, last summer I signed a new contract with the Washington Wizards. I am really happy to be a part of this organization and team.

Finding my spot with the Wizards has gone a little slower than I thought it would. We have a talented team and I am working on adjusting to my new surroundings. I am starting to find my niche with the team and we are starting to get into a grove.

One exciting even that is coming up is my basketball camps. This year, we have two weeks in San Antonio (my summer home) and one week here in the DC area. Registration is now open and I hope you will sign up! We have sold out every year in SA and I can’t wait to see my friends at camp this summer.
