It Hurt!
December 1, 2001

I spent a lot of time receiving treatment and sitting in the whirlpool. I actually hurt both my hip and my wrist. It was scary but I was glad to be able to play last night against Sacramento. It was not an intentional hit so I don't have any bad feelings. We just hit in mid air. Having Sacramento in town allowed me to get together with my friend from home, Lawrence Funderburke. He has been a friend of mine for years and it is always good to get together with him.

Becky wrote in and asked me about the way Tim is playing. There is no doubt that he is off to a phenomenal start. TD worked hard over the summer on his game. He focused on conditioning and free throw shooting. What you are seeing now are the fruits of his work. He would love to hear from you. Send me a note for him and I'll pass it along. Maybe I can get him to sit in this year again.

Joe asked about Tony Parker. He continues to get better every game. Tony is exciting to play with. Honestly, it is scary to think how good he can get over the next few years as he improves.

I appreciate your comments about the debut of my radio show. I have had a blast and Don and Bill are making it easy for me. I have gotten more comfortable each week. I hope you'll tune it and check it out Tuesdays at 5 PM on 760 AM KTKR the Ticket (www.ticketsports.com). Send your question to antonio@antoniodaniels.com and I'll try to answer it on the show.

Lots of you have commented about the new gear that we put up on the site. I love the new black AD-T and hope that you will too. Because you asked, we added lots of new items from Camp t-shirts to balls and jerseys. Check it out at www.antoniodaniels.com and let me know what you think!

I know you are all excited about next week when Michael Jordan returns to San Antonio. I'll fill you in with all the details of our game then.
