The Lake Show
November 10, 2000

Wednesday's win over the Lakers was great for our team. We have had some success against them in the past. This game was different since they won the championship. Tom asked me about all the talk that went on before and after the game. I know that Shaq and Kobe were talking. To be honest with you, I really don't pay much attention to that stuff. Guys will talk; we just want to let our game do the talking for us. We are very focused on doing what we need to do to win.

James wrote in from Kerrville and asked me if I thought that the foul Shaq had on me was intentional. I don't know if it was or not, it's just part of the game. I will say that it hurt!

Veronica asked about the Suns game. I was hoping to only have to talk about the Lakers! Those kind of games happen some times. No excuses, just a tough game for us. The good news is we immediately bounced back and took care of business the next night.

Tim wrote in and was complimenting Malik on his game. He is doing an outstanding job for us. Over the summer, he really worked on his jump shot and came into camp in great shape. I think the fact that he is coming of an injury really motivated him. He is playing with a lot of confidence.

The game against the Mavericks tonight will be tough. They have made a lot of moves in the off-season and are playing really well. Hopefully, we will come away with a win.

Ben had a question about the kind of music I like. I have a lot of CD's and a pretty good variety, but mostly I listen to hip-hop, R & B and rap. Also, I appreciated Ben's words of encouragement to the team. I really like hearing from the fans and even though I can't reply personally, I do try to answer questions here. Knowing that you are out there cheering for us is great! Keep up the emails and let your friends know about the site. Remember, I am giving away an autographed ball at the end of this month.
